All businesses must issue an e-invoice with or without the tax verification code to the buyer for the sale of goods and services according to Vietnamese regulation on e-invoice.
Businesses should begin implementing measures to comply with this regulation during the transition period. However, if firms receive a notification from the tax authorities, they will be required to switch to e-invoices as stipulated in the time frame issued by the tax department.
